@Sarah Kensinger don t forget investors can build and triple net lease their properties via a long term lease to management companies and enjoy all the benefits of passive investing.You are right .management companies who are responsible for taxes , insurance and maintenance, will make sure the property and furnishings( which they paid for) are well taken care of.

Sadly if tenants don't follow the lease, especially in a way that could cause a lot of problems for you, it is time for them to find a new place to live. 

Just got an email from Ally bank stating: “We recently received information indicating you are not currently living in the United States.

We are struggling to know which direction we should go.We currently live in a condo that if  sold in this market we would net $80k.

I live in the home and rent out a 700 SF portion of the home.

I was looking to park money in an asset and continue to live in the barracks collecting my BAH payment.
