I did this to free up the FHA loan with intentions on using it again to house hack a more expensive four-plex.My biggest problem has been finding a four-plex for sale in an area where I could move into that would not be any further away from where I work (already an hour drive each way).

They may not believe that your daughter has actually lived with you.We've seen a spike in rental application fraud, the biggest issue being residency fraud.Applicants are claiming they live with family/friends to hide their true landlord whom they haven't made payments to in months with eviction moratorium.

That's usually the biggest rub with inexperienced investors.
