WSJ article on deed fraud aka as stealing your house with the aid of online property records.Given our government's horrific record on protecting online records (every government worker or former government with a security clearance had their fingerprints their personal history and a large part of their financial history stolen by the Chinese government, one of the worst screw-ups in American history) this can become a major issue especially for landlords who very rarely or never visit their properties.

In order to get septic approval the County Health Dept requires that we use one of their 'certified septic planners' to do a site visit, take measurements, dig test holes etc.

Hi there,Welcome to BP, this is a great website and resource for all types of real estate investing.I suggest you do a lot of research here, do not spend a lot of money with coaches, it would be much better to put that money to work and learn from experience.Additionally, there are many real estate clubs out there, visit them, select your favorites and meet other investors working your area.
