You can get BLOCs that are credit-card based (easier to qualify but costlier to cash) or check-based (meaning, you write checks).

If you are needing $10K I would consider using credit card cash advances or finding a relative to loan you the money and offer them money at closing.  

Get over the credit pull phobia; the notion that credit pulls destroy your credit was made up so dumb baby boomers would stop getting a new Macy's card (and $3,000 more in debt!)
