You can listen to the podcasts in your car while you wading through So Cal traffic, if you need to find the time.It's quite cool to see another So Cal investor interested in financially distressed property.

And given that I live in LA, I spend a fair amount of time in traffic so I'm at least getting an education--and probably faster than I would reading it myself. 

Doug - {keep this one under your hat, but} There are some places on the east coast with incredible beauty and more temperate climate than the Niagara Peninsula ... just not the population density, traffic issues, crime, or, yes, the economic engine.

The blog posts themselves will draw the traffic, and I'm mostly concerned about local traffic anyway, not global.

So, you just need to see what works for you, but my point is that you have options, and you should keep one end-point domain for all traffic and links to go to.
