RE Agent Selling Own Property

Hi BP!

What do you guys/gals think about an agent selling their own primary residence? What are the pros/cons? In this case the house is in a high demand suburb of Boston, MA where open houses are bringing in large buyer traffic with multiple offers. The agent is fairly new and wants the exposure to this market. Any insight or advice is greatly appreciated.

Im selling my primary residence right now.  The only thing I do caution is that some buyers will avoid properties listed by owner/agents. Also be realistic in your negotiations. I priced my property aggressively high, but Im aware of that fact...some owner/agents price high not realizing they are high.
