While I don't have a lot of contacts there, I do have a reliable real estate agent who can help with finding you a place.

They would have to be reliable of course.   

Also, how do you find a title & escrow company that is reliable?

I have a few questions and would appreciate any input since there is no step-by-step process or much clarity on this type of RE transaction. 1) Recommendations for reliable Florida title search companies that provide a bulk discount;2) Recommendations for a RE attorney who can provide guidance/consultation on a tax deed sale in Florida and assist with a quiet title after the purchase;3) Tools such as video or articles on government and non-government liens, debts, judgments against the property, the search process.

The strategy that pops to mind for me is to have a parent or other trusted peer with reliable income cosign on the loan for you.
