I was in a similar boat.

Egress doors must open directly into the public way or to a yard or exterior court that is open to the public way (IRC), similar in IBC.   

I know I have posted similar questions before but my husband and I are still going back and forward about where to buy.

We'll be looking for similar property/numbers later this year for our first property. 

I believe Florida is similar to a few states I invest in. 

Our properties in the Midwest are all large apartment buildings worth north of $4mil so we are looking for a solution that has a lower interest rate of course than credit cards and allows to pay off the balance each month in full and of course pay back the line of credit (or similar) at less interest.

Hi Noah,The way it works here in Washington, and I'm sure it's the same or very similar everywhere else, you have to hang your license with a designated broker. 

I think it is similar to finding good contractors, which is never easy -- get referrals from those that have actually used them. 

I'm in the Seattle suburbs in a similar boat and got frustrated, so I started shopping in Philadelphia and now Chicago.
