I'm personally looking at the 2-4 space right now as I think there should be good opportunity there to make the numbers work in high-value markets

Other times you see a person do a single post and ghost their own post.I am in two other forums that are dead or dying.  

Has anyone hired someone on payroll to oversee their personal portfolio?  

I personally prefer when investors have some skin in the game.

The complaint was that we gave an apartment to a family and not her (single person). 

As a person who has purchased hundreds of mortgage notes (non-performing and performing) and done many seller finance deals let me tell you if this was the case wouldn't all banks require the buyer (their borrower) to get such a deed so that if their borrowers do not pay then they don't have to go through foreclosure.  

I don't have financing for lack of trying....I have been working on financing for the last 9 months or so....I have been struggling for all the reasons you outlined and am not willing to walk away so am paying out of pocket to get this across the finish line. 

I am thinking Des Moines may be a good place for me to start for some personal and professional reasons.

In my personal opinion, that's kind of the way wholesaling is able to work though.
