I always thought of gurus as mystics from middle eastern or Indian culture.

It seems like a hotel conference room would work well, but I have no experience organizing something like this.I am proposing that people send me their email in a colleague request, and I will setup the meetup.com group and email everyone link invites.

Event based operations often have housing needs in the months leading up to large conventions/conferences. 

There was nothing but great information and speakers at that conference.
