In winter?

You'll get insane prices over the winter holidays, but may have a lot of vacancy in the summer.

I understand that the electric heat pumps are not efficient at lower (winter) temperatures, which we have a lot of in Philadelphia winters.Are the newer models as bad as some of what I've read online?

I am in the process of finding and purchasing my first multifamily investment property scheduled for the winter months.  

Other costs to be considered would be snow removal in the winters in Chicago and general building costs.

I never gave this too much thought till my wife and I was sick several months this past winter.

Winters are cold here & I figure rehabbing a place by myself is going to take a few months.

In Vermont, real estate is pretty expensive, along with taxes, plus there's winter, so heat and other costs come into play.

We're not sure about our plans for the house- I'm going to live there during reno- we live in aspen and I'm sick of the long winters & short summers.
