This made the tenants upset.The tenants are saying they are unable to wash their clothes and they going to rent strike. 

We even had one bored tenant install a ring camera to check when the washing machine was done so they could put it in the dryer or check if someone else had finished.

They can get enough hot water from the stove to bathe the baby or wash dishes.

Like telling yourself all you have to do today is wash one dish - and the next thing you know, you've reorganized all of the cupboards, or to just read one chapter of a text and the next thing you know it's dark outside and you've learned the entire subject.

So it is more or less 'a wash' in the end.

Most likely, they would replace it themselves without telling you at that price point -- they do not want landlords visiting and telling them to wash their dishes an mop the floor!
