I came out of the deal with 15k in equity but in the process I ran into a lot of unforseen issues that resulted in me maxing out my credit cards just to obtain the occupancy permit and to start prepping the house for resale.

Within a couple of houses distance there are three 2-unit condos just being completed, a $500k brand new SFR that just went on the market and this is just the short list of what is happening.Within the next 2 years I would expect to see this building scraped and condos built on it.
