Impressive that you own most of the equity in a Brooklyn brownstone.

When people first look at you they will be impressed at how well you carry yourself and most forget age.

I know, I know, that would not impress Josh and Brandon...Anyway, I am brand new to investing.

Do you want to give prospects the impression that you're either a cheapskate and don't want to pay for a website or that you're a beginner and can't afford a website?  

I wasn't really thinking about renting to a family with kids that may use that room.I was thinking more of a typical renter's profile for this type of units (2/1 condo) in this neighborhood are mostly younger single professionals looking for a 1/1 or a 2/1.These tenants do not have twin size beds, mostly queen or king.I have to go back and take some measurements but the impression I had when I walked in was "Oh, a closet with a window, cool..."

I had watched that movie Pacific Heights once & it left an impression.

I have been reading and reading for the last few months and I have to say I am extremely impressed with the amount of knowledge and overall kindness of some of the people on this board.A little about me and my REI  background.  

Last point too, saying that an option price is money that can be kept can give investors a false impression of reality, I'll point to the FL case recently posted in the forums where the option was improperly conceived and therefore deemed not to be an option but an installment sale, the error caused the optionor (seller) to cough up that option price together with other sums to be paid back. 

I'm confused because I was always under the impression that lease options had nothing to do with Dodd-Frank.
