@Kayla D.Many use private lenders - while interest rate may be higher on smaller loan amounts it really doesn’t have such a huge impact overall.Also check some other local lenders and DSCR lenders as many will go to $75k

I will be charging this RE investment company (again an RE company that I own 50% of) market interest rates.

To be clear, it is totally ok to APPLY for more than one (shopping rates/lenders/brokers) however having multiple loans going at once (if you were doing a loan for your primary and one for a rental at the same time) requires disclosing on the application that you are getting another loan while your current loan is processing.  

Since you were smart to house hack a 4, I would see what you can get for a 2 in good shape, not a BRRRR or rehab (too much work when you are new).

This is even true in the stronger markets.So it's not abnormal that you're seeing lower rental rates.

I'm proud of the house I created, it's beautiful & I even have a 5.0 rating on Airbnb. 

The house was rehabbed with good quality materials and overall looks great but should I be worried with unpermitted modifications?
