Get set up on an MLS search, go to local networking groups, look at wholesale deals.

This takes time, networking, diligence and a whole lot of trust but it can be done. 

I am also trying to build my network within the city and its surrounding areas, but have had trouble finding the right broker and larger investment companies to help guide me on this path.
