New member in Spain moving back to states soon

Hello Bigger Pockets community! I'm Chris. I currently am living in the Costa de la Luz region of Spain, but I am soon moving back to the United States to Norfolk, Virginia. I'm originally from Dallas, Texas.

I currently own a condo in Hawaii I'm going to turn over soon after over 10 years of ownership. This was the second home I've purchased. I've rented it for 7 years now. I'm looking to get into multi-family properties like duplex, triplex, 4-plexes and possibly small apartment buildings. I've been entertaining getting into the Detroit market, but will also be buying a primary residence in Norfolk in the Ocean View area. I'm active duty military currently, and am retiring in the next 5 or so years and intend on working for myself owning multiple homes/apartments. I joined biggerpockets.com thanks to lots of Google search questions and research I've been doing on real estate and multi-family unit ownership. Looking forward to being a part of the community here!
