Bottom Line is the rumors of going down to the tax auction and obtaining someone's valuable real estate for pennies are mostly false.

There have been rumors going around about 3 possible locations just in the DC area alone, all of which have fix & flip/ hold opportunities in the exact area. 

I saw a rumor posted that they skipped the country and I find it interesting there has been no information about them meeting with the SEC for settlement or a hearing.

I'll be one of the hold outs that will be forced to change when the time comes and the impact of the rumored VRBO API requirement is known, if it comes to fruition. 

I'm seeing rumors of rate drops which could bring buyers out like crazy. 

This sounds completely wrong to me but I heard this rumor on Jamil Damji's Zoom meeting tonight as well.

Between shady business people (what I felt to be) crooked property management companies, and some of the rumor and innuendo that I'm seeing about the outlook for Michigan real estate, is there any hope in investing in Detroit?

I haven’t heard any rumors about that but it would be a nice benefit.

You would be amazed at how doing your own research puts you far above most investors.I've done LO's in TX for 9 years and after 2006 the rumor mill went rampant and part of it was due to attorney's that had land trust courses, and also due to people not reading the actual law.
