Amazon Fulfillment Centers affect on property values and rents?

Hi Everyone,

I'm a newbie investor looking at a deal in an area where Amazon has announced they will be building a fulfillment center.  The move is supposed to bring a couple thousand jobs to the area, which would be great.  My question is; Has anyone that owns a property in an area where a fulfillment center was put in actually seen an appreciation in property value or market rents since that fulfillment center opened?

My apologies up front if this question has already been asked and answered.  i tried doing a search for it and nothing came up.

In Moreno Valley where there are quite a few warehouse jobs we have seen rents rise modestly over the last few years but that could also be due to the improving Inland Empire economy in general.  We did have a logistics manager rent from us once, he had been moved around the country once every couple years to analyze various warehouse hubs, he didn't work for Amazon though.
