I've been able to get 0% APY balance transfer for 12mo before from Chase and Amex by doing this on a card I already had and I got a 1% balance transfer fee vs the normal 3-5%.

I was just thinking, as a realtor, I will sometimes just drive through neighborhoods that I like and sometimes, I will see a Pods container or a moving truck, or people working - If I see that, I will normally go knock on the door and introduce myself to see if they are making a move or not.

They should have at least communicated with you when they realized the costs were ballooning well above a normal sewer line repair cost, before proceeding with that work.
