Appraisers can't tell unless they've been in lots of comps themselves whether an "improved deck" in that area generally means an outdoor kitchen, pergola and fire pit with high end appliances or a $500 grill and an aluminum sink in the corner of a bare deck. 

The wind took the cashier's check from his hand and it got sucked up into the 18 wheeler's grill. 

It has its own office, laundry facilities, BBQ grills around the perimeter, etc.

.: It's an oil stain from a grill that can probably be cleaned off.

I propane fire pit and a BBQ grill would be nice. 

-The bar and grill is barely breaking even and the apartment is vacant.- The Fire escape in the back needs a complete overhaul. 

Occasionally I'll get an HDTV or a grill.

I would suggest just making the place appear like somewhere vets would like to live - i.e. maybe install some grills, or a volleyball pit, some kind of "military dude" hangout areas outside would probably help draw the crowd you're looking for
