What happens to all the cabinets that new cabinet installers haul away?

It’s an appreciating asset that I’m not counting on cash flow from  I have to say I flinched twice here and when I read your initial post.Personally, I went in the opposite direction and purchased the cheapest primary possible and didn't buy toys and luxuries until much later.

I have an additional city similar to Euclid that I believe would offer easier access to inventory and offers better schools and amenities with possible higher appreciation over the long haul.  

Some have asbestos and other items that make tearing them down and disposal for haul away more expensive.

They seem relatively easy to maintain, very efficient, and here in Alaska, I feel like a lot of people try to minimize their footprint and expenses so they can buy more toys.

Maybe over the long haul it will work, but definitely causes a lot of anxiety in the meantime.   

Long haul, IMO Tacoma will continue to get more expensive and gentrified as long as the Seattle area continues to grow quickly.

Amazing as this sounds it could be as simple as clogged gutters .The sump pump is the last line of defense not the first .Sump placement is very important,with that age there is good chance of no drain  around the foundations .Funny story last house Iived in flooded when I was selling it had to cancel he open house .Installed a sump pump after hauling 12 yards of dirt,gutter work over .

Or just haul it away yourself!
