During construction they encountered a half a million dollar hickup because the earthwork contractor encountered major difficulties.

He even renewed your lease after he had been defaulted and a sale date had been set when he knew damn well he only had days of ownership left.I constantly encounter prospective tenants that are in similar situations, except many of them signed a lease and put down a security deposit right before the sale.

We have encountered difficulties with obtaining this loan.

I would think private money would be the best direction to go; keep your money in reserve in case you encounter any surprises on the originlal project or in the event another opportunity presents itself prior to finishing the original project; While your involved on in one project, you always have to seek out the next one.

Anyone ever encountered this situation?
