Additional issues that disappointed and surprised me - his team used my brand new stainless steel kitchen sink to wash their brushes, leaving paint and a haze in the new kitchen sink and a permanent rust stain ring from the paint can on my counter.

The only thing I can think to add that hasn't already been said is that it is common for tenants (non-qualified painters) to get brush strokes accidentally on other walls and/or the ceiling.

You can buy spray guards and just cut in with a brush once you get good, cuts down on masking, but that skill takes a WHILE to develop.I clean my tips in paint thinner regardless of what I spray, after I flush the system with water.
