I would run the idea by the assessors office and maybe the code department.

Here’s an example of what I’m talking about; in 2020 my partner and I purchased a 9,965 square foot office/warehouse which had just been vacated by the tenant, for $625,000.  

I purchased a property in Western New York that includes a small 1,200 sq. ft. local Post Office. 

Rates vary by county, and are applied to 100% of assessed value (values are determined by the assessor’s office).

After a few calls to the tax assessor's office, we finally found who we needed to talk to and were able to go in and complete a form attesting to agricultural use.  

Most of them are not EAs and a few in each office just started this year.First, find out if your person is an EA.Next, did you set up a Partnership, Corporation or an LLC that can be taxed as either one.
