The arts district may be cooler in some regards but you are closer to sketchier neighborhoods.

I think there's going to be some effect in the commercial markets across the board, but especially in high cost cities like the ones you mentioned.The one mitigating factor in my mind is this:  each time I've been to one of these tech campuses one thing is very clear . . . it's way cooler than my house.  

Sadly with it being tax season he's only slightly easier to find than a Yeti (the furry kind and not my cooler ;) )But I'll keep trying.

Dreaming of your profit splits is cool and all, but making sure you protect your money at all costs is way cooler.
