That is likely because you are hiring unlicensed people to do the work.  

Things that are within my skillset include: electrical (unlicensed), IT networking, cyber defense, and any handyman tasks.

Otherwise, you are acting as an unlicensed agent, and that is against the law in every state as far as I know.

@Sean O'Keefe not sure about KS or CA, but in VA as long as you are a broker you can have an unlicensed person act as a property manager on your behalf as long as they are your employee.

With that being said, the number only seems to grow, with now over 25 owners discussing this matter.As for you being deceptive, simply owning up to the fact that you were working unlicensed is enough to confirm this fact.
