I completely redesigned the upstairs to an open floor plan 2/1 apartment.

(smile) Now that idea has expanded even further, I now want to be involved in Development focusing on Loft type or Manufacturing Building that can be redesigned for residential use with a twist.

I struggled through Mech Eng with a minor in EE.Then ended up in drive control automation & traveled the world on contract jobs.But that minor in EE saved me a lot of $$$ when renovating homes esp splitting the services for myself & others.If you're serious about RE investment an engineering background will save you a fortune & give you valuable insight into structural re-design (assuming you take some design courses) when you blow out the walls etc of an older home or add a room above an attached garage etc.It's a great discipline & you will never regret finishing.

I am actually not new to the site as I was on here about 4-5 years ago (before the redesign of the website) but I lost all my user info, changed my email address, etc, etc.A little background.

Well, they could redesign things and make the store a 'U' shape and less sqf or they could spend another 100K , or whatever it costs, to redesign the whole plan.

I’m looking for a recommendation for a demo job and a builder/contractor to provide redesign construction plan to be a duplex.
