Education is very important, so I’m taking a self taught course to get my permit tech certificate.

I'd also like to plug Bigger Pockets because of what you said, but also because of the education you can get here on the website.  

If you're a landlord, then you'll want to educate yourself on the local laws.

They can ensure everything is safe and, if you attend the inspection, they can educate you on what to watch for.

My piece of advice would be to try to take advantage of as much free education as possible with podcasts, forums like these, YouTube, and other real estate investors.

Looking for some input...I'm working on educating myself more when it comes to various tax benefits and trying to decide what would be the best route for me moving forward.
