Self Storage- security system success

Traveling in Malta and now in Florence Italy for new years.  About an 8 hour time difference but our alarm systems are 24/7.  Got an alarm the other night.  Called our local sheriff department.  They called back about two hours later.   They had caught some trespassers.

We have continued to upgrade our security systems as capabilities have increased and costs have decreased.   Cameras originally were 1K and now are 4K.  Put in motion sensors.

Catch about 1 out of 3 people now.

Luckily I wasn’t home.  Normally I would run down with my truck and 12 gauge with buckshot.  Sheriffs department took care of.  Automation has been really helpful.

Happy New Years.
