I have debunked that rule on many occasions.  

I have no difficulty reading up articles and cross referencing articles and options online to debunk hyperbole, but as a right side brain user I tend to lack an idea of what direction to start looking into in these matters.

I have yet to hear a theory on how co-investment increases alignment and/or decreases risk that I can’t debunk...but again, not saying co-investment is a bad thing.  

@Jason Andler didn't get anything I asked for out of my agent, she hasn't done anything my freind and I are negotiating, she told me she spent hrs on the phone with my freinds agent but that was debunked and used to justify her commission
