What about finding some land and parking it (and others) near a fire pit, grill etc that you may need to build/install for "glamping" in a communal but secluded setting?

The guests also had access to communal showers and toilets.  

Bunk beds, Bluetooth, TVS, coffee maker....maybe a communal keg? 

Communal space with be minimal.

Shortly after I found out its a Single Room Occupancy(SRO) with communal kitchens(2 floors and 1 kitchens on each floor).

They can regulate the activity for the building such as letting you rent out or not, increase the communal fees etc.

Cost to build 10 units with communal areas would be $300,000.

I was able to carefully choose my stays using the profiles and was able to meet and spend time with a priceless variety of people: people with cats, people with awkward teenagers or adorable tantrum-throwing urchins, people who lived in semi-restored historic ruins, bohemian weirdos with artsy communal lifestyles, widowed intellectuals with priceless antiques and hours to spare patiently correcting my grammar, people who forced me to eat and drink meals worth 3x what I was paying them, all of whom didn't speak (or agreed not to speak) a lick of Anglais. 

I can't imagine anyone ever renting a place with merely a half bath - unless there's a communal shower.In regards to your original question, the kitchen is fine.
