i was thinking about getting a rental property in bad part of my town to start my portfolio.The reason i was thinking about starting in this area is because i would have a good chance at getting it owner financed.i know it would be a higher risk, but everyone needs to start somewhere.

Most of my available funds are tied up in this project.The house is in a pretty bad part of town, but has gotten a lot of press that it is turning the corner....warehouses converted into artists' studios, a brewery, and pubs and more upscale restaurants are now there.
