I'm finally ready to take the plunge into real estate investing and am super interested in the potential of short-term and mid-term rentals.I'm drawn to the idea of creating passie income .Right now, I'm trying to narrow down my market ( North carolina and Texas)and learn the ins and outs of STR property analysis.

Do you have a nice amount saved up for the activities you enjoy(I assume yes given a 30+ year in Tech plus you mentioning making lots of money already in real estate).If that is the case, what are you looking to achieve now within real estate?

Currently we are looking into a couple of properties in Zip code 43206 and wondering if you can share inputs about the area from the point of view of safety, tenant pool & growth/appreciation.I have lived in the zip code of 43206 for over four years.

Its 2 properties in 1 single loan.

For building a buyers list, I’d recommend joining local real estate investment groups, both in person and online.

The rental vacancy rate in Decatur is barely over 4%...not a bad number. 

I don't see how someone can wash a full load without having the other side to rinse in.

Do you see blockchain and smart contracts as the future of how we deal in real estate, or are there just too many hurdles to get over?

Often times we have the vendor/contractor reach out to the resident to communicate directly on a time when they will be home to let them in.
