Hello all,I am in the early stages of getting into the residential rental real estate world in Hudson County New Jersey.Does anybody know of any associations or organizations that I could get involved in to meet people in the industry?

Join the local REIA organization and spread the word.

There are intuitive reasons why suburbs have steadily grown, and as technology increasingly enables us to over come the logistical effects of distance (the COVID-19 social experiment will noticeably extend this ability) we also become less concerned about the logistics of distance in favor of quality-of-life for our families.Appreciation is where the most money is made, and the fast-growth areas are where the most appreciation occurs (for 10+ years).

The owner of the company started out with pictures & virtual tours - the company has grown very quickly; there is definitely an opportunity there. 

We regularly use Craig along with BP Insights and my wife's organic knowledge of the city. 

Most Agents struggle because they do not treat it like a job; it is a job, if you work hard, prepare and organize you will succeed!!!  

Organization - find a way to simplify your life; once I got serious about owning real estate, I simplified my life (work - eat - work - work out - eat - read - sleep & do it all over again, every day until I bought my first house)6.

The seller is likely the child of the previous owner and may have grown up in the house giving it sentimental value that they are willing to pay for. 

We always have declined and referred them to the local property management company, but have thought that would be a good way to make money if we had more time and energy to get it all organized.  

My fulltime Job has grown significantly and keeps me very busy.
