I discovered BiggerPockets and my passion for learning about real estate by reading the BiggerPockets book, How to Invest in Real Estate.

We had a hunch that our neighbor secretly cut the roof rafters with a chainsaw so that it would finally get on the blighted list and they'd let him tear it down, lol. 

As a former CA resident myself, I can speak to some of this.When you look at CA, there are multiple areas/cultures you can look at (Northern, Southern, Central Valley, etc.)...it's almost like states within a state.It's no secret that CA is expense to live just about anywhere.

Even though I dislike small multi because it often attracts renters who think it’s like a home and suddenly discover how loud their neighbors are.

I thought this trick was just too cool to keep it a secret. 

For example, I might look at a client's data and develop an algorithm to discover factors that influence whether or not a lead converts to a paying customer.I have a few ideas as to how I might be able to contribute in the real estate field; however, I'd love to hear your insights!

I usually ignore them, as I know that many are probably "secret shoppers" looking for FHA discrimination or something similar.But this one guys I recognized as someone I actually showed an apartment to about nine months ago. 

People discovered STG that haven't visited in a while or at all.

The issues are the issues this Seller wants you to know, as you might be not pleasantly surprised post-purchase to discover other "new" issues pop up.
