Dear all,I've just done a home inspection for a property in escrow and need some help with estimating the cost of a few items.

There are very strict regulations for Rental Properties, inspections, permits Etc. 

You are negligent in your tenant training.No household furniture permitted.I would suggest you keep up on your quarterly inspections as she is likely a slob and you will need to police the entire unit. 

So first we bought this 6 unit in New London, everything was going fine until the insurance company did their inspection.

The only things different about Section 8 are they have an additional income line (assistance) and some additional regulations on the property as a result of the Section 8 lease and inspections.  

Besides it cutting my personal mortgage in half before the $850 rent from one side, it would also put me closer to my 9-5 and would put my wife within 5 minutes of school.  

Anytime I thought I found a killer deal online I was almost always dissatisfied with the condition when I actually inspected the place . it’s only a good deal if you don’t have to dump a train load of money in it to get it where it’s decent 

An asking price is just an ask... ...In sum, on paper one deal looks great and one not so great, but upon further inspection they totally change positions.

Also, the supended ceiling in the basement clearly is wrecked from water damage, although during inspection no source could be found and above the ceiling everything looks good.
