When you form the business under a Partnership, make sure you have a Partnership Agreement outlining who has what duties and their authority.

To be honest it never crossed my mind to do seller financing as the actual seller but I see its been a well discussed topic here on the forums.

There's a lot of stuff out there on this topic.

Make sure to listen to all the BP podcasts, read the articles on the main blog and be active in these forums to learn a ton very quickly about any topic in real estate you want to know more about.This is also a great place to meet people that can be assets to your business.

There is actually a ton of guidance on many different topics inside that guidance including but not limited to payment allocation, force placed insurance, bankruptcy responses, payoff demands and others topics as they related to the amendments of RESPA and TILA or Regulations Z and X which is what govern mortgage settlement and servicing.
