I do like the idea of small-town living but it may have to be a luxury that I continue building up to until I can take a little more risk. 

Hi everyone, I am considering buying a 1/1 610 sqft condo in Innisbrook palm harbor which is a luxury and famous golf resort and hosts PGA golf tours etc. 70-75k for a unit, plan on living there for a year than Air&b it, multiple listings are booked months out for 80-120 a night, and near 200-300 during golf tours.

I know people who rent out luxury rentals one to 2 months a year for ~$120k or so a month.But I would always want that core home to come back to as my base of operations so to speak. 

Investing in storage facilities may not have the same appeal as buying a fancy shopping center or luxury apartment complex but that doesn’t mean they don't make good investments.

People wanted the log cabiny, rustic feel, but also... new, modern, clean... and here's the kicker... a luxury ambiance with outdoor hot tubs, indoor saunas, indoor heated pools.

Either Europe finds a solution to backstop and firewall this Euro zone debt contagion once and for all or else we are surely headed for Deflationary Depression ASAP.Unlike Europe, we have the luxury or the curse to print our own $ at will.

They're not going to rent for the same price as an STR tenant, and they likely aren't looking for a luxury setting.

I have a luxury flip in the Royal Iolani hitting the market in about a week that should pay out very nicely and others on the way.
