Purchasing Countrywide did as much to save Bank of America, whose stock would have taken a massive hit if Countrywide went belly up, as it did Angelo Mozillo (who nows gets to avoid the possibility of jailtime if the company did crash and declare bankruptcy).

Last year around January he quit taking my calls and then subsequently had his cell phone shut off. he was never there when I went by and was even told he went out the back door to avoid me.

I figure being an agent firstly would help with connections with all aspects of rehabbing (Not having to pay commission for I will be the lister and the buyer in most cases), possibly pick up distressed property's a little faster, etc.2.

I would think purchasing the first house to avoid mortgage payments altogether would be optimal, but I would really like to keep that other money put away and "start small" like anyone else just starting out.

I am so happy that I met her and that she understands the kids aspect and is willing to train me. and just to toot my horn a bit...i have a lead currently that could be a listed/mortgage laon combo that i had the day before i had my interview. she told me that she is happy that i am so motivated and understand so much...she seemed surprised i knew what a short sale was!
