A Few BASIC Questions if you will......
I will be getting out of the military in about a year, so i am going to get started on a real estate pre-license course in a few weeks, and eventually take the salesperson exam. I'm taking the course mostly because i want to get more familiar with the basics of real estate (laws, marketing, etc.), and also to become an agent. BUT, my interests are also in Rehabbing houses. So with that, my questions are...
1. Would it be wise to be an agent and ALSO manage contractors to keep up with the property im flipping at the time, or would i not have any free time since i will be a salesperson? I figure being an agent firstly would help with connections with all aspects of rehabbing (Not having to pay commission for I will be the lister and the buyer in most cases), possibly pick up distressed property's a little faster, etc.
2. If i was to be both, would I need 2 different websites. One for being a real estate agent and one for being an investor? Same with business cards; would i need two different ones?
3. Lastly, what is a common business name for investors? is it just so-and-so INVESTORS or so-and-so HOME BUYERS or so-and-so PROPERTIES? what would be logical to use.
Thanks for your help
