I'm impressed by BiggerPockets and can thank you for saving me tens of thousands of dollars on supposed RE Investing gurus.I'm not big on social media (one of about three on the planet without a Facebook account) and making private things, public, but I am ready to start and succeed on my own in real estate and realize I need to start putting myself out there since I'm now ready to go.

I know roto-rooter peddles an additive (60 bucks a gallon) that you are supposed to dump down the drain (just writing that makes me cringe...) that they claim will form some sort of a smooth film, but that sounds rather far-fetched to me - has any had luck with that?

I wouldn't worry about the tenants' belongings if it was in the lease that they are supposed to get renters insurance if they want their belongings covered.

I suspected this vaguely last month when the rent came in two separate installments.She has payed up until the day she moved out (1 week into a new month, she is supposed to be out by tomorrow at the latest).
