I was getting bombarded with emails when it listed for $2,600 initially so I raised the price to $2,800 as I realized I had under priced it.

Remember, you can ride the rollercoaster, but you only realize a loss when you get off the ride.  

I realized my money would be better spent in real estate then with the govt/fed and their ups and downs, which I have no control. 

On the first walk-thru with the realtor I realized we could blow out a wall and make the bathroom twice as big which would allow us to bring the washer dryer upstairs out of the old dingy basement.

You don't even realize they aren't the lender until you are weeks or months into waiting. 

Lease says that a guest may only stay 14 days in a year, but tenant is claiming that the law allows 14 days every six months - I cannot find anything confirming that, so I'm telling her she's got to file what is in the lease.They're not happy about it, but at least now I think that they realize that they cannot have Grandma lose her nursing home bed. 

And the ability to realize that revenue stream is dependent upon community acceptance and the willingness of the town to support a zoning change.
