As of my current living situation I am not ashamed to say I still do live with my parents haha (like Thach Nguyen in the past) so I don't pay any rent there. however I do help with the bills so I am not a freeloader lol!

Saw real estate kept coming up and my parents actually own 2 properties that they rent out.

My parents agreed to put a 5% deposit on an apartment in the same condo complex we live in 5 days after the inspection report was issued for said property.

I grew up watching my parents having 2/3 jobs after we moved here from Puerto Rico, I’ve taught in public schools and worked a 2nd job for 7 of those 9 years, and all I desperately want is financial freedom.

My parents have a (legal) ADU in their backyard and I floated the idea of them possibly fixing it up and renting it out as a form of income since they are retired. 

Hi,My wife and I along with her parents recently purchased our first investment property (and got it rented within 5 days whoop).For ease of purchase and financing - the title of the house and financing is solely in my name but the business intent is for it to be a 75/25 split.

I told her if she left it clean she would get a $250 check because that is what I would pay for cleaning.My parents had rented a house to a tenant for many years. 

We have charged those by a 3-4 month period at parent request.   

I have experience in real estate from my parents, they’ve been playing this game forever, way before I was born.

Same guideline applies for an elderly parent that doesn't have income to qualify.
