I like what Account Closed suggested and would encourage you to ask everyone you know.  

Make sure to get involved with a good local realtor to help you put together the most appealing deal, regardless of on market or not, and to successfully find worthwhile pocket listings.

Note - If you are looking to invest the proceeds you could look into a 1031 exchange will defer all Federal taxes to a later date and allow you to purchase another property with the proceeds.The best thing to do in your situation is to do a little research and talk to an accountant.

A mentor of mine by the name of Nick Ruiz had a podcast on BiggerPockets and through that, I was able to find this wonderful site chock full of RE info and those that are involved in RE.My immediate goal is to get started in Real Estate wholesaling (the right way lol) and eventually move into rehabs/fix and flips and eventually buy and holds.
