I cut the cord with full time corporate employment Feb 2016 and am enjoying the freedom it has brought me and the ability to concentrate 100% on Real Estate. 

., that do exactly what I do on their own as a freedom in the United States to invest in anything.  

Either can get you financial freedom, but Multi-family will just leave you with more zero's.

I'm just looking for more ideas and trying to protect myself legally.Since there is no lease term, I have more freedom to do what I want, within reason.

I was kidding about the retirement thing, though financial freedom is the reason I want to become involved in investing.

Your physical body is technically at its peak at 25 years old, but I would assume that’s not the case for business or financial success.Time is the ultimate freedom, but it doesn’t seem like you value it that much with your continued rigorous work schedule.

It also helps my goal of financial freedom at a young age.

But the office is disappearing (you mentioned yourself that you could remote work) and there's no reason to give up your financial freedom to live, buy or rent in Zurich when you don't have to!

@Russell Brazil I agree with most of the folks about the differences between going with a small brokerage and a large one.I think the decision, ultimately, comes down to a personal analysis of where you are and where you are trying to go.If you would like to have the freedom of doing creative investment deals as Rick H. said, I'm in it to build a business.
