If you don't have these basics down, you won't be adapting in the big picture, everything will seem like a road block at every turn, unhappy, most will fall out of RE in 3 years!

So while there may be a deal on occasion that falls through, it is not usually because they are trying to scurry off and find an end buyer it is usually a property issue that comes up during the inspection period. 

That is why they accept backup bids when a contract falls apart.

And I've always been apprehensive to draft any documents because if something isn't right the blame falls square on my shoulders.

Others move out and pride of ownership falls.

But, fall back a bit and talk with your bankers and tell them the exact situation and see if those funds can be allocated for that transaction - which is wishful thinking but worth the ask - but also search for and line up another deal where those funds can be applied.
