@Abby Vohra there are many Facebook groups for expat relocating to Portugal that offer help in immigration, real estate and tax.Many of the ones I am a member of are British or American, but the American relocation rules are the same for you.I run one of these groups for social events in the Coimbra region.

Consulted with lawyers and here is what they said: Bankruptcy Lawyer said "I represent huge clients with over 1000 doors and 95% of them have the properties in their personal names.

Hey @Robert Obniski,I'm not sure if you're purchasing in an attorney state but your lawyer would be the best person to ask about this.That being said, the sellers may be just as concerned about closing during this time as you are.

The lawyers will always want to fight it because they usually get paid either way, my pockets don't run deep enough yet. 

My agent and lawyer both are convincing me that I am making it bigger than it is.

@Roy JonesI am not a lawyer and I would suggest consulting with one.If you use an in state management company, I don’t believe that you would need to have your LLC foreigned registered in the state.
