Hello bigger pocketsI just bought a duplex in Detroit Michigan and I would like to tile floor.

Box and plumbing should have been inside the wall if at all possible.

I would like to buy a duplex/ triplex sometime in the next 60 days.

I actually put pictures up on the walls, hangers in the closets, outdoor grill, everything I could think of. 

SFR, Duplex, 2 4-Plex’s.  

An update,I was leaning toward the SFH without seeing it inside as I know the layout, I know it needs floors and wall work and so on.

I agree with others who suggested you need to buy at least a duplex or more.

My husband and I bought our first duplex 2 years almost to the day and we have been working to get our next investment property in the near future.In all my research and education, I've realized that I feel stuck in my current day job and I know my skills are much better suited for the real estate industry.

For instance, the basement was leaking water from one wall and the seller had to put up gutters with downspouts leading far enough away from the house.

I'll also be living in the duplex using the house hacking strategy of it being owner occupied.
