Tenant fills out our application (and that does include all the dob/dl/ssn info which we use for ordering our own credit, criminal, eviction reports. 

Then you get the tenant's credit check, criminal, eviction reports.  

Hence, why I am trying to find a system to simplify the process:-)I practice immigration, criminal, and some personal injury law - car accidents.

I use smart move (TransUnion) it also checks previous evictions and criminal records.

(Don’t know if it was criminal restaurant employees or what happened.)

He has a vested interest in verifying whether the person is living in his unit because the person could be a criminal for all he knows, which is a scenario you are ignoring.

In my opinion, anyone selling a list of loans to anyone with people that are delinquent but NOT in foreclosure, are asking for a boatload of state and federal lawsuits for violation of civil and potentially criminal statutes.

As a real opportunity detective, a guy like this (geez, I HOPE that's a guy's voice) leaving a message is now considered a terrorist threat and is pretty easy to get prosecuted and incarcerated for 6 months or so.
